Centennial Olympic park is a 21 acre public park located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia owned and operated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. The park was built by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic games (ACOG) as part of the infrastructure improvement for the Centennial 1996 summer Olympics. The park plays host to millions of visitors a year and several events, including a summer popular music concert series (Wednesday Wind Down) and an annual Independence Day concert and fireworks display. It is a magnificent place to go to and is filled with a lot of historical facts. Its a really fun place to visit and the play fountain is super fun. Its actually might be one of the best parks ever. It is a really fun place to go.
